“
As for the factory in Bologna, thank you to everyone from the top floor to the bottom and especially to Davide Tardozzi and Paolo Ciabatti – they basically put me there in the first place
”.
I guess this is my time finished at Ducati and I was pleased to leave them with a half decent result in Valencia. Some people think I pulled out something extra for the last race but no, everything was the same as usual, I always ride the same. It was just that the bike was really coming together – but a bit late for me.
Phillip Island was good apart from a few bad choices and then we stayed on for a test and made another step forward. We moved on to Valencia and the bike was good straight out of the box basically, it was working really well. I enjoyed the whole race weekend because I was part of it, you know? I was at the front and that’s where I like to be.
It was also a nice way to leave a bunch of guys I call “Team a Team”. That’s my crew I’ve been working with for the last four years. They might think they’ve got rid of me but I’ve said I’ll be around for food and I’ll be visiting the box when I want and uninvited! As for the factory in Bologna, thank you to everyone from the top floor to the bottom and especially to Davide Tardozzi and Paolo Ciabatti – they basically put me there in the first place.
My next stop in Bologna will probably be at the Motorshow – like I said, I’ll be around. To all my supporters, whether they follow me to my next adventure or not, take it easy.
