GP - LOCATELLI HAS SCAPHOID OPERATION ON WEDNESDAY |

Roberto Locatelli had just recovered from his nasty crash and the consequent contusions he suffered in the Australian GP, when he hit the deck once more in the Malaysian GP and fractured the scaphoid on his right wrist.
The Clinica Mobile doctors applied a protective bandage for his journey back to Italy.
On Wednesday 28 October the Gilera rider will be operated on by Doctors Soragni and Costa, at the hospital of San Marino, where they will fit the same type of screw to his scaphoid as Simoncelli was given before the Qatar GP.
The screw, which is known as HSC and Marco Simoncelli jokingly calls SIC, will enable the talented rider from Bergamo to race in the last grand prix of the season in Valencia.
The operation will certainly help him get through the race but not as much as Roberto’s own strength which he has shown on many previous occasions.
