Bayliss and Ducati - two names that
go so well together certainly couldn't be missing from the DRE 2011!
In fact the Troy Bayliss Academy has
been launched for this reason. The course, which has exceptionally high
technical standards, will be taken by the several-times world champion himself
in the role of instructor. He'll be there to let you in on all the secrets of
successful racetrack riding.
The course is aimed at expert riders
who already feel at home on the racetrack and want to learn how to get the most
out of their bike's potential.
The motorcycles used for the course
will - naturally - be the fantastic
1198
SP, a fine concentration of technology and performance, that only for the TB Academy will be accessorized with Termignoni exhausts.
The course is limited to a maximum
of five participants on each date, in order for Troy Bayliss to be able to
dedicate the time and attention that each individual trainee deserves.
Participants should have the
necessary equipment - a leather racing suit, full-face helmet, gloves and
boots. Those without the required items will be able to hire it when signing up
online for the course at the dre.ducati.it website. For information on this
read the 'clothing & equipment' section which includes details on the
technical clothing to be worn.
Prospective participants at the Troy Bayliss
Academy must have an A-type licence without limitations of engine capacity.
