THE FIRST DUCATI CAFFÈ OPENS IN THE HEART OF ROME
Grand opening for the first Ducati Caffè. The new, innovative concept restaurant & lounge bar is bound to become the fashion place to be in the Italian capital city. Located in one of the most charming areas in downtown Rome (Via delle Botteghe Oscure n.35, right before the archaeological area Largo di Torre Argentina), the Ducati Caffè was officially inaugurated on Thursday, 11 December, during a pleasant evening enlivened by many initiatives linked to the Ducati world. The glamorous ambience evokes the style and passion that are the flagship values of the Borgo Panigale marque.

The inauguration of the Ducati Caffè - the first, innovative concept restaurant & lounge bar born to delight Rome's gourmets with the unmistakably Italian style and taste traditionally associated with Ducati - was truly an eventful evening.

Guests were able to enjoy a fast-paced sequence of events and entertainments, including a live presentation of Ducati apparel and merchandise - available to buy in the same venue - staged on the photo shooting set for the Ducati Caffè calendar. The enthralling music played by the renowned DJ Isa Iaquinta helped set the perfect tone for the evening.
Puma - a Ducati partner - chose the Ducati Caffè as the venue for a preview of their Spring-Summer 2009 Collection. The cool, contemporary atmosphere of Ducati Caffè and its association with the sports world make it a unique location, ideal for presenting new trends and styles, and not only for motorcycle lovers.

The motorcycles that dominated the MotoGP and Superbike championships were on display for the evening and - as was to be expected - proved to be a great attraction. For this special event, Ducati put the Desmosedici Gp08 bearing Casey Stoner's number one plate and the 1098 F08, the "queen of the Superbike championship" with which Troy Bayliss won the title of World Champion, on display.

Other renowned companies teamed up with Ducati to celebrate the debut of Ducati Caffè and were ready to link their brands and corporate image with those of Ducati, offering guests a "party in the party ". In addition to Puma (who held a fashion show presenting their new collection) and Alice - Ducati's partner in this project - several other leading Italian brands are present in the Ducati Caffè as a further guarantee of quality and style, including: Negroni, Birra Moretti, Campari, Ilva-Saronno, Desmorosso, Champagne Riunart and Segafredo Zanetti.
