Paola and her 999 bring home the champioship
 Everything started as joke…one night we were in Bologna for the presentation of the Ducati Corse Racing Team, we noticed that there was something going on with Desmodonne and MAK, and finally found ourselves at Pompone headquarters where it was proposed to get Paola a racing license. Paola was assigned to the Y2K team and the Desmodonna group could begin the preparations for an exciting racing season. It was a rocky start with a new bike which needed to be broken-in, combined with other challenges. However, nothing could affect Paola’s determination. Eventually her warrior spirit emerged and race by race she constructed her masterpiece. The Championship. The emotions created by her acrobatic wheelies moved the very desmodromic spirit of Ducati Pompone Italia. This signaled the clubs return to the scene as a supporter of Borgo Panigale.
