World Presidents Meeting 2006: Final Report

The event of the World President Meeting has ended. It has gathered about a hundred worldwide clubs presidents. Australia,Japan,Brazil,Mexico Iceland,South Africa,United States,Canada are just some of the countries where all the fanatic representatives of the clubs are from, to share their main passion: Ducati! We Couldn't miss the meating at Borgo Panigale, where the “Red Monsters” are created! We perceive a certain euphoria in the air for the nice atmosphere and for the new people who were getting know each other. The first stop is Rimini, just to share a pleasant night together to better know each other. Sunday 28 May, the group leaves for Todi (Umbria) in the Romagna mountains where DOC Terni waits for us to spend a lovely night with the club. On Monday morning, while we are proceeding towards Roma, we stop for a nice lunch at Cascata delle Marmore to continue for the capital where we will spend two relaxing days, where city sightseeing and folkloristic dinners are the protagonists.Wednesday 31st of may, after the waited audience from the Pope, finally we leave  for Mugello, where a  dinner  with Lorenzo Lanzi is waiting for us, everything accompanied by an unexpected cold weather. On Thursday as usual, the program foresees the visit to the paddock, where the group has participated to the D16RR presentation and to the dinner with the gifts distribution among the clubs.
Friday 2 nd, of June is dedicated to the meeting. It’s a day in which the presidents have met Federico Minoli and Claudio Domenicali and when they got the news that the WDW has been confirmed for the year 2007. Great euphoria also during the night, even if the weather spoils the initiatives organized in the park of the Convent. The event concluded  with the peak of the practices and the  race on Sunday,in which all of you know the results and that bring us at the top of the world championship chart. Goodbye to 2007… that probably will coincide with the WDW.
