Ducati is giving you the best opportunity to take part in a fun, unforgettable weekend in the heart of Romagna!
The participants of the Ducati Grandstand at Misano can enter the “Italia in Minatura” theme park for free from Monday, August 27th to Sunday, September 2nd by presenting a valid grandstand ticket. This ticket guarantees free entrance the following day as well.
To add to the fun and excitement, the heart of the MotoGP is also coming to Italia in Miniatura – Doctor Costa’s Clinica Mobile is making a pit-stop for three days at the park! It will be possible to visit the clinic inside the park on August 27th, 28th and 29th and to participate in the auction to help raise funds to support the riders’ legendary “travelling hospital”. The auction will take place on August 28th at 11:30 a.m. in the presence of Dr. Costa.
One of the exciting pieces that will be up for grabs is Loris Capirossi’s helmet from 1990, his first year in the world championship in the 125 class, which is actually owned by Dr. Costa. Books written by this famous doctor will also be for sale, from his autobiography, “Dottorcosta”, to the more recent “Alex, guarda il cielo” – an incredible testimony written by Dr. Costa and Alex Zanardi together.
Italia in Miniatura, was the dream of Ivo Rambaldi, its founder, whose mission was to highlight the beauty of Italy. This park is famous for its 273 reproductions of many Italian and European monuments on a scale of 1:25 to 1:50, as well as many other fun attractions.
