Ducati Factory Team Manager, Davide Tardozzi, is recovering in hospital after being involved in a car accident on Sunday. The car, in which he was a passenger, was traveling in the Ferrara area when the driver reportedly lost control on an oil spillage.
Davide has been treated in Rizzoli Institute hospital in Bologna for a fractured tibia and fibula and is now recovering from an operation performed by the same doctor that treated Ben Bostrom earlier this year, Fabio Catani.
The accident means that the team will have to carry out the scheduled three day test in Valencia, Spain this week without him and, in fact, may not see him return to action for a further three months.
