The Elite 200 won the hearts of bike-lovers world-wide with its combination of performance and pleasure.
Featuring all of the innovative technology introduced by Fabio Taglioni with the "Marianna" and the first single-cylinder racing bikes, the 200 Elite may well be considered as a sort of sport-production bike of the time.
Beautiful, easy to handle with attention to detail, it was viewed as a fun bike suitable for a variety of uses, and its popularity spread abroad at a time when the Italian market was suffering quite considerably.
Thanks to its amazing success, the 200 Elite enjoyed a long life, and was eventually discontinued in 1965
