Ever wondered why Italians have such a passion for bikes? There’s probably plenty of reasons, but a glance at the road map highlights one overriding attraction: Italy’s endless, irresistible curves. The tour starts in Bologna with a visit to the Ducati Museum and the historic factory where so many legendary bikes have been created. Then, as you ride over the winding roads of the Tuscany-Emilia Apennines the miles just melt away with the sheer pleasure of discovering some of the world’s most breathtakingly magical towns and cities: Florence, Siena and Assisi. After a week exploring Tuscan hills and intriguing Umbrian villages, the tour returns to Emilia Romagna.
This sublime Italian itinerary is, in short, a motorcycling masterpiece.
