With a total of 6 world, 4 European and 45 national titles, the Ducati Riding Experience boasts one of the best line-ups of riding school instructors in the world. This highly experienced team, which ranges from ex-champions to seasoned motorcyclists, are ready to pass on their considerable riding knowledge both on the track and in the classroom. DRE is also proud of its occasional visit from special guest stars, such as National and World Champion Paolo Casoli, who are glad sit down and discuss riding techniques with all students.

  DARIO MARCHETTI
Chief instructor, Dario has raced just about everything from 500 GP to Superbikes. He has competed all over the world and has also taken home four national titles. In 2001 he rode the Ducati 996R to victory in the Italian Endurance Championship. In 2004 he won the Battle of the Twins race at Daytona aboard a 748 and later that year won the European Cup Endurance Championship with Marc Garcia using 998 and 999Rs.
  MARCO LUCCHINELLI
Racing instructors don’t come much more qualified than that of a 500 Grand Prix World Champion. One of the greatest Italian racers of his time, Marco won the prestigious 500 world title in 1981 and has six GP victories with a total 19 podium finishes to his name. He later raced Ducatis in TTF1 and TTF2, as well as enjoying victories in the Battle of the Twins at Daytona. He brings a wealth of experience to the DRE  being taught by him in the Master Racing Course will undoubtedly be one of your most memorable Ducati Riding Experiences of all time.
  VITTORIANO GUARESCHI
'Vitto' started racing at the end of the 1980s and won the Italian Supermono Championship in 1995. Moving straight up to World Supersport, he twice finished as runner-up in the 1997 and 1998 World Championships. From 2002 onwards he has been the official Ducati MotoGP Team test rider providing valuable data and feedback and helping Ducati Corse to develop the fastest MotoGP bike in the world the Ducati Desmosedici. As a factory test rider his technique has to be faultless so, when his GP schedule is free, 'Vitto' is a very valuable asset to the DRE.
  PAOLO CASOLI
Paolo Casoli brings a wealth of experience to DRE and a rich history of racing Ducatis. In addition to winning 5 Italian National Championships across the Superbike, Supersport and 250 categories he was crowned 1997 World Supersport Champion, taking the title aboard a Ducati 748 in one of the world's most competitive classes. He almost repeated the achievement again in 2000 and 2001, missing out on the titles by just a few points only. Now retired from racing, he has a PR role within the official Ducati Xerox Team and is a valuable instructor in the DRE. 
  DAVID JAMES
During a racing career of 20 years that included 125, 250, 350, 600 and Sidecars, David James had progressed from club racing, to British and European Championships, and then to Grand Prix, where he won three successive Sidecar World Championship titles in 1997, 1998 and 1999. Having retired from professional racing at the end of 1999, he now lives just a few minutes from the Imola circuit and manages the Racing and Bike sections of the Ducati.com website from the Ducati Factory in Bologna. 
  GIAN MARIA LIVERANI
Italian Supersport champion in 1993 and 1994, he moved up to compete in the World Superbike Championship in 1994 and 1995. In 2002 and 2003 he raced in the highly competitive Italian Super Twin Championship, and in the 2004 Italian Superbike Championship he took his Ducati 998 to a very creditable 6th position.
  DANIELE MORIGI
Riding one of the most beautiful Ducatis ever built, Daniele took his Ducati Supermono to 2nd in the Italian and 4th in the 1993 European Supermono Championship. In 1997 he finished an impressive 2nd in the Italian Monster Cup series before winning the Trofeo Ducati series in 1998 and 1999 aboard a 900SS. In 2000 he competed in the World Superbike championship for Team Pacific until a crash at Oschersleben in Germany forced his early retirement.
  SIMONE SANNA
Racing in 125 GP teaches you how to ride to the maximum and maintain high corner speed while having a clean, aerodynamic style. No DRE instructor is more qualified at these things than Italian Simone Sanna. His first world championship ride was in the 1997 Italian 125 GP and to date he has climbed the podium nine times, including three victories, three seconds and three thirds. His first victory came in the Catalunya Grand Prix in 2000.
