MOTORCYCLING PASSION COMES HOME AT LAST
After the resounding success of the now classic GP Grandstands, the time has come to paint the track red with passion for the 2009 Superbike Championship too. On Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September 2009, the historic Enzo e Dino Ferrari racetrack in Imola will play host to the legendary Ducati Grandstand on the occasion of the third to last round of this year’s SBK Championship, where all fans of the Bologna-made red machines can come together.

The purchase of a “Ducati Grandstand” ticket gives you access to the covered grandstand M (see map), located by the chicane just across from the pits. It’s an ideal spot to take part in the thrill of the start as well as the finish and of course the whole race thanks to the positioning of a maxi screen opposite.
As already tried and tested at Monza, there will be a parking area for Ducati bikes only just behind grandstand M (see map), open to Ducati Grandstand ticket holders and others while space allows.
Also behind the Ducati Grandstand, the Ducati Village will be open to all spectators, who can relish a full range of Ducati products in an atmosphere of pure revelry.
Tickets for the Ducati Grandstand at Imola are available for sale up to 21 September 2009 at the special price of 100 € for the three racing days, €80, for a ticket valid on Saturday and Sunday, or €70 for a ticket valid on Sunday only, and can be purchased:

Tickets can be purchased through Bestticket and Index Points until Wednesday 23rd, 6.00 pm. The accreditation center will be placed at Imola Palace Beach (http://www.palacebeach.it). Download the map to acceditation center here.
Any postage costs must be paid for by the customer. Tickets bought online or at Ducati Stores can also be collected at the Ducati ‘Accreditation Centre’ (to be defined)

imola celebrates troy bayliss
But that’s not all! To celebrate the return of the Superbike World Championship to this historic track, the Imola City Council and Ducati have joined forces to organise an event within the event, with a very special guest: Troy Bayliss. On Saturday 26 September a convoy of bikes will set off from the track and make its way to the main square, where Ducati fans and other enthusiasts will be able to pay homage to the three-times former World Champion from Australia, who in 2006 took part in one of the most amazing motorcycling races ever, losing out on the title by a whisker.
The party will continue with live music and food stands.
