The Ducati Team is ready for the battle of Silverstone

After the fantastic race in Austria, the Ducati Team is off to Great Britain where it will be on the track this weekend at Silverstone.

Dovizioso is coming off his incredible victory at the RedBull Ring, demonstrating once again his firm intention to remain in the group of those battling for the world title. In Austria Andrea showed great maturity, but also a competitive intensity that we hadn't seen yet. Supported by a powerful Desmosedici GP, which once again confirmed its extraordinary fit with the Austrian track, Andrea is ready to put it all on the line in the season final. Lorenzo finished in a strong fourth place in Austria, which has boosted his confidence in the bike after achieving the first row in qualification runs. We are confident that at Silverstone Jorge will continue his growth process on the Desmosedici GP, aware that he is now ready to compete with the best.

Silverstone is one of the fastest tracks on the calendar even though it doesn't have long straights. It's a technical circuit with curves where cornering speed makes all the difference. This could play in Ducati's favour because the new aerodynamic configuration is particularly suited for these circuits. Obviously in Northern Europe weather conditions are always unpredictable, and so the riders may find themselves having to race on a wet track or in changing conditions.
