THE DESMOSEDICI RR TESTED AT THE MISANO WORLD CIRCUIT
To celebrate Casey Stoner's umpteenth victory in the seat of a Desmosedici at the Misano World Circuit, Ducati organized a workshop at the circuit in Misano Adriatico dedicated to the street replica of the MotoGP racing bike.

Some of the most important sector journalists of the world were invited to a dynamic test of the Desmosedici RR, including in-depth explanations of the engine, chassis/vehicle and tyres by Ducati and Bridgestone engineers. For this occasion, Ducati was able to release the last bits of information about the details of the bike whose production will begin in October.

RACING KIT
The Desmosedici RR is equipped with a special Racing Kit, complete with a racing exhaust and dedicated ECU, a rear stand, cloth bike cover, certificate of authenticity and Ducati Team Sponsor stickers.
 
The engine clearly represents the beating heart of this fantastic motorcycle, but the technological advancements also extend to the chassis: a signature tubular trellis hybrid frame, refined components, and a superb carbon fibre body.
With a power output of 200 HP at 13,800 rpm and 85.55 lb-ft of torque at 10,500 rpm, the new D16RR engine follows the guidelines laid down by the Ducati Corse GP engine, a masterpiece of engineering and precision.


The DDA package consists of a real analysis system for data gathered during rides or track sessions. The kit, normally used only on race bikes, enables riders to thoroughly analyze the performance of their Ducati and the effectiveness of their driving style.
