The world of clubs at the forefront in promoting safety
The
DOC are also invited and encouraged to make safety commitments: in
fact, Ducati has asked its owners' clubs to become road safety
ambassadors, with the aim of sharing, both within and beyond the
motorcycling community, the values of road safety, introducing and
underlining the good practices which the individual Clubs adopt during
their activities.
One key example is the "Road safety and basic first
aid" course, which this year has been held by Dr. Marco Toderi, a member
of the D.O.C. DesmoTicino, during the WDW2010 as part of the Ducati
University programme.
