Come to World Ducati Week 2004 and get a once in a lifetime opportunity to ride the renowned Santa Monica racetrack in Misano Adriatico for an entire week. The racetrack, 4 kilometers long and 12 meters wide, will be open to week-long pass holders for all seven days except Monday of the event and to weekend pass holders for the entire weekend.
All bikes will be welcome on the track, not just Ducatis. We’ll have free engine and chassis tuning areas in the paddock so you can get your bike set by the true experts. Participants will also be treated to a number of special events at the track, from display laps by our world famous official racers like Troy Bayliss and Loris Capirossi to the mind-blowing stunts of Christian Pfeiffer, from the thrill of dragster racing to a chance to ride on the back of the two-seater version of our explosive MotoGP Ducati Desmosedici driven by Randy Mamola.
And this year, for the first time ever, we’ve reserved Misano’s second 3.4 kilometer track exclusively for on-track tests of our 2004 model range. You’ll be able try out stunning bikes like our world-beating 2004 Ducati 999 and find out just what our very latest Ducatis models can do! On the opening day of WDW (May 17th) you will be able to participate in the Ducati Riding Experience or a variety of tours departing from the paddock. Whether you're looking to get a knee down on the track or just feel more confident on your bike, DRE offers you some of the world's best riding instructors in the unbeatable atmosphere of the Santa Monica racetrack in Italy at World Ducati Week! So gentlemen and ladies, buy your passes and start your engines! WDW2004 is about to get on track!
