If Ducati staff thought the stand was packed yesterday, they certainly were not ready for the tens of thousands of fans that visited the stand today as the usual VIP visits and events carried on throughout the day.
1st and 2nd riders in the 2003 World Superbike Championship arrived at the show today. Team Ducati Fila riders, Neil Hodgson and Ruben Xaus, posed for photos in the middle of signing thousands of autographs for the Ducatisti on the packed Ducati stand. The incredible pairing virtually dominated this season aboard the brand new 999F03s with Neil taking the Riders’ title and Ruben helping to clinch the Manufacturers’. Both riders will remain together for 2004 as they make the exciting move to MotoGP aboard the Desmosedicis run by Team D’Antin. Their 2004 preparation starts next week when they fly to Spain to test at Valencia alongside the Ducati MotoGP Team.
