MOTOGP TEST – DAY 2 |
Neil Hodgson and Ruben Xaus took full advantage of the second day of tests at the Valencia circuit today, with bright sunshine blessing the region so that the two D’Antin MotoGP Team riders could continue with their adaptation process at top speed. Neil completed 78 laps of the track, while Ruben managed 63, but both were in agreement that the day was fruitful.
Ruben Xaus set a best time of 1'35.86 and the Spaniard was also very pleased with his work: “Today I had less problems with the brakes because I tried some smaller discs which performed better for me. We are continuing to try different things and we getting better every time. I had a kind of initiation yesterday and that’s become clear today!”
Luis D’Antin was also unable to hide his satisfaction: “Everything is going very well indeed, in exactly the way we planned it, and I would even tentatively say that we are achieving our objectives early. I think that the riders are both setting a good rhythm and the team is settling in well, although we need to keep our feet on the ground and remember that we have just started and there’s still a lot of work ahead.”
