Commercial Aftersales Manager

Job Title: Commercial Aftersales Manager 

Reports To: Managing Director 

Location: Sydney, NSW, Australia 

Position: Full Time 

With the introduction of the Australian and New Zealand subsidiary in July 2020, Ducati have embarked on a new era. An opportunity has now become available for a proven and experienced aftersales professional to join our high performing and passionate team. 

Reporting to the Managing Director, this role will be responsible for the development and growth of the genuine parts, accessories and apparel business unit for Australia and New Zealand. The Commercial Aftersales Manager responsibilities will be, but not limited to: 

  • Comprehensive understanding of the Ducati accessories and apparel product range. 
  • Implement Ducati tools and campaigns to maximize Commercial Aftersales business. 
  • Educate and support the authorised Ducati dealer network to grow their CAS business particularly:

  1. Understanding of Ducati Commercial Aftersales proposition
  2. Dealer forecasting and stock requirements 
  3. Dealer and product training
  4. Communicating and promoting the product range 
  5. Implement and manage showroom visual merchandise

  • Performance analysis, including variance analysis between dealers, best practices and corrective actions.
  • Set dealers targets and support them to achieve the targets.
  • Prepare rolling monthly forecast by business line.
  • Management of stock obsolescence and stock shortages.
  • The management of dealer credit limits for the Commercial Aftersales business.

The successful applicant will have the following qualifications and education:

Essential qualifications:

  • Minimal five years experience working in aftersales within the Automotive or FMCG industry.
  • Tertiary qualifications in business management or similar business studies.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Entrepreneurial, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Good presentation and communication skills.

Desirable experience: 

  • SAP knowledge or a similar ERP system.
  • Experience with Power BI and Business Analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of the Ducati aftersales product.
