JOB TITLE: Chief Financial Officer


REPORTS TO: Chief Executive Officer 



Directs the company’s strategy in relation to finance, technology and systems, forecast formulation and operational financial reporting. This position is a member of the Senior Management Team.

  • Direct and oversee the company’s financial administration and planning including, but not limited to, financial policy development and implementation, management of accounting systems, budget planning and implementation, risk management and insurance, short and long-term forecasting and strategic planning;
  • Oversee and manage relationships with lending institutions, audit, tax and compliance CPA firms; insurance broker and manages relationship with parent company financial executives in Italy;
  • Evaluate the Finance and Technology departments structure and team, plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group and motivate and lead a high-performing management team, providing individuals with the opportunity for professional and personal growth;
  • Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization, i.e., evaluation of pricing models, tax analyses, transfer pricing modeling and investments;
  • Oversee insurance function to assure company’s assets are safeguarded from all possible exposure;
  • Review and monitor the organization's financial position; creates and distributes necessary reports on the organization's financial stability, liquidity and growth;
  • Monitor process measurement, KPI and quality reports to ensure Ducati North America operational goals are met;
  • Provide top level support for issues raised by staff, including direction and guidance for establishing process and procedure related to the collection of delinquent accounts, capital spending plans and timeline for systems enhancement and conversion; 
  • Various other requests or projects as directed by CEO;


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, Master’s Degree or CPA preferred;
  • Five or more years related experience at a mid- to senior- level financial position;
  • Demonstrated analytical proficiency and financial acumen;
  • Ability to conceptualize, analyze, and communicate highly complex business problems and issues;
  • Demonstrated capability of strategy formulation resulting in realistic and achievable plans;
  • Must understand the financial and accounting aspects of strategic planning ideas and have a high level ability to do financial analysis and financial statement modeling as well as understand financial measures;
  • Superior communications (written/verbal), presentation and facilitation skills;
  • Able to build rapport with a culturally diverse group at multiple levels and disciplines;
  • Strong ability to influence and gain collaboration and respect of key stakeholders at all levels in the organization;
  • Result-oriented, mature, confident, self-motivated and driven / high energy;
  • Strong project management skills, creative and innovative problem-solving skills;
  • Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting (GAAP and IFRS), finance, multi-state taxes and financial systems
