Easy Rider. The myth of the Motorbike as art

From 18 July 2018 to 24 February 2019 - Reggia Venaria Reale, Turin

Exactly 20 years after The Art of the Motorcycle, the great exhibition held at the Guggenheim Museum in New York, Arthemisia and Consorzio delle Residenze Reali Sabaude, with the patronage of the City of Turin, have staged an exhibition to celebrate the world of motorcycles: Easy Rider. The myth of the motorbike as art.

From 18 July 2018 to 24 February 2019, the spaces of the Citroniera delle Scuderie Juvarriane will host the motorcycles that have struck people's imagination over the years: protagonists of legendary films, grand prix racing bikes, vehicles that embody the concept of the road trip and special models that have crossed the desert.

Ducati is involved in this exciting artistic and historical journey with the exhibition of three models: The Ducati 916 from 1994 representing Italian style and design, the 2009 Desmosedici MotoGP, the ultimate expression of a dynamic and sporty bike, and the iconic Scrambler, ideal for an adventure on dirt roads and sandy terrain.

The exhibition includes more than 50 memorable motorcycle models divided into thematic areas, a trek through the world of two wheels seen as "a system of concepts made of steel".
