Stories. Italian Design

From 14 April 2018 to 20 January 2019 - Triennale Design Museum - Milan

From 14 April 2018 to 20 January 2019, the 11th edition of the Triennale Design Museum presents the history of Italian design through an array of works that have distinguished themselves as "icons" of the 20th century.

The 180 works selected by the curators of the exhibition have rightfully become part of the lives of Italians, contributing to the global fame of products Made in Italy.

The icons, produced between 1902 and 1998 and displayed in chronological order, illustrates a historical exploration of Italian design. Ducati "closes" the exhibit with the Monster 900 (by Miguel Galluzzi for Ducati, 1993), identified as a work of design due to its technical and formal innovation, aesthetics, experimentation, recognisability and public success.
