Return policy and right of withdrawal

In case, for any reason, you would like to return the purchased Product, you can do so within 14 days from the date the Product was received. We remind you that the returned Product has to be intact and returned in the same conditions that it was received: that is in perfect conservation status, unused, equipped with the original package and of the possible included accessories, instructions, manuals and warranty certificate if provided. Remember to carefully follow the instructions that will be given to you.

Timetable and Methods

Once the conformity of the returned Product has been ascertained, we will refund the amount paid for purchasing the returned product, excluding any possible transportation and customs fees and any other fee not included in the price. For more details see the General Sales Conditions (art.9).

Legal guarantee

Ducati, pursuant to and in accordance with European Directive 44/99/EC and Italian Legislative Decree no. 206/2005 (Consumers’ Code), grants the Buyer, who is deemed consumer, a legal guarantee on all the purchased products for any conformity defect that may arise within 24 (twenty-four) months from the delivery of the products. In case the products purchased are used the period of guarantee is reduced to 12 months at least from the delivery of the products.

The legal guarantee allows the Buyer, in case of conformity defects of the product, to obtain, by directly addressing the Seller, in reasonable times and keeping in mind the nature of the product, the repair (if possible), the exchange of the product, the price reduction or the cancellation of the contract.

The guarantee does not cover in any case the improper use of the Product and the use of the Product that is not in compliance with the instructions/warnings supplied by the Seller or provided by the other relevant documents.

The possible report of a conformity defect of the product has to be presented together with the proof of purchase of the product from the Seller (tax document/invoice issued by the Seller or payment receipt). 

The conformity defect has to be reported within 24 months as above specified and has to be sent by the Buyer within and no later than 2 (two) months from the date when the conformity defect has been discovered.

The conformity defect has to be reported by the Buyer to the Seller by sending an email to; the Seller will readily communicate to the Buyer the methods through which return or make the Product available. 

The Seller, through its customer assistance service, will execute the quality controls in order to verify the effective non-conformity of the Product and will send the Buyer a feedback by email.

The possible refund will be processed through bank transfer in favour of the Buyer. It is responsibility of the Buyer to communicate to the Seller, also by sending an email to, the bank details to make the bank transfer in his/her favour and to allow the Seller to issue a refund.
