Travel Briefs in Greece with Multistrada V4 Rally

Setup, adjustments, and riding parameters are described stage by stage by Andrea Rossi, Product Sponsor for the Multistrada family. As a preview, the complete GPX track to relive the entire route.

BORGO PANIGALE - BARLETTA

Terrain: Highway + final dirt/gravel section in Puglia
Riding Mode:
Touring / Enduro (at the end)
Suspension Mode:
Comfort and Offroad

A transfer stage, ending with a fun stretch on dirt roads and a spectacular sunset. More than 700 km of highway flow smoothly thanks to the stability and comfort of the Touring setting. The taller windshield ensures aerodynamic protection, and Adaptive Cruise Control makes the ride less tiring. In the last section, the road becomes unpaved, and we switch to Enduro mode: softer suspension, reduced power, and optimal traction. It’s the first change of pace of the trip, managed with maximum ease thanks to the bike's extreme versatility.

BARLETTA - BRINDISI - IGOUMENITSA - GIANNINA

Terrain: Gentle curves + mixed surfaces + evening sections
Riding Mode:
Touring
Suspension Mode:
Auto

A link day between Italy and Greece, with the Adriatic Sea acting as the border. The curves towards Brindisi flow quickly, then the journey continues overseas to Ioannina (Giannina). On the Greek coast, the light fades and the road becomes narrower: the Rally continues to guide us naturally, thanks to the updated LED headlight that illuminates deeply and the Blind Spot Detection that monitors side traffic. Even in the dark, the pace remains fluid and concentration high.

IGOUMENITSA - PLAKA - METEORA - LARISSA

Terrain: Winding roads + climbs + hairpins
Riding Mode:
Sport / Touring
Suspension Mode:
Auto

The ride gets into full swing, alternating between perfect asphalt and more uneven sections. The Auto Suspension Mode detects every variation and returns a consistently coherent setup, without the need for intervention. We enjoy continuous cornering, and despite the loaded panniers, the precision remains high: the repositioned pivot makes the front end more stable and allows for effortless tightening of trajectories even in the sportiest sections.

LARISSA - MONTE OLIMPO - LAMIA

Terrain: Technical high-altitude off-road + descent
Riding Mode: Enduro
Suspension Mode: Offroad Pro

The most adventurous part begins on the slopes of Mount Olympus. The Enduro Riding Mode accompanies the first climb on compact dirt, where the Offroad Suspension Mode guarantees comfort and ease. When the surface deteriorates, with loose rock and small steps, we switch to Offroad Pro for more support and precision. Traction Control at Level 1 allows for controlled slippage and corrects excesses. At 2,500 meters, we are impressed by the ease with which the Rally tackles such a technical route after the transfers of the previous days. On the descent, ABS 1 with the front-to-rear function helps modulate braking safely on the steepest parts.

LAMIA - MYTIKAS

Terrain: Curves on asphalt + hilly sections + final off-road
Riding Mode:
Touring / Enduro (in the final section)
Suspension Mode:
Auto

The landscapes change again as we ascend through coniferous forests. The curves, each one different from the last, create a continuous and highly engaging rhythm. The Ducati Quick Shift 2.0 makes gear changes precise and fluid, without jolts at any rev range. Then it's back to off-road: all it takes is a change in the riding mode and the bike immediately regains balance and control, adapting to the new terrain with its usual ease.

MYTIKAS - IGOUMENITSA

Terrain: Coastal road + good grip + fast curves
Riding Mode:
Sport
Suspension Mode:
Dynamic

The final part of the trip runs along a perfect coastal road, with high grip and fast curves that lead us back toward the ferry. We set the Riding Mode to Sport and enjoy the push of the V4 Granturismo, which is thrilling yet always manageable. We arrive in Igoumenitsa after dark, concluding a journey that alternated between asphalt, dirt, and mountain. In every context, the Multistrada V4 Rally proved capable of accompanying us thanks to its extreme versatility.
