Let's start with a question for Andrea Rossi, the rider: What excites you the most about this new Multistrada V2?
The ease of use is definitely what excites me the most. It’s a bike that behaves exactly how you expect, with outstanding neutrality in all phases of riding—from braking to cornering, and through to the exit. You never feel like you need to force the bike into the turn, the lean is constant and progressive, making it a joy to ride even on imperfect roads. The engine is equally enjoyable, with plenty of torque at low and mid-range rpm, making every curve fun. With 115 horsepower, the Multistrada V2 offers the perfect balance between ease of use and thrilling power. Lastly, the well-balanced and aggressive design, combined with features like up-wash deflectors for thermal and aerodynamic comfort, makes me truly love this bike.
Now a question for Andrea Rossi, the project team member: What are the innovative elements of the new Multistrada V2 that make you the proudest?
Evolving an already successful model isn’t easy, but with the new Multistrada V2, we’ve succeeded. One of the things we are most proud of is the weight reduction: a full 18 kg lighter than the previous generation. The new aluminum monocoque frame, trellis rear subframe, and swingarm were designed from scratch, improving both handling and accessibility for all riders. The Skyhook electronic suspension on the S version offers exceptional customization, adapting to different riding styles. We also introduced the WET riding mode, which maximizes safety in wet conditions, another major innovation.
The new Multistrada V2 offers plenty of room for customization. What’s your preferred setup?
Personally, I like the S version with the travel pack, which includes heated grips, a center stand, and side panniers. It’s perfect for long trips. There are also specific packages like Sport, Touring, Urban, and Enduro, allowing the bike to be tailored to every need. I’m also excited about the Termignoni racing exhaust, a new option for the Multistrada V2 that further emphasizes its sporty character.
Three dream routes for future Multistrada V2 owners: which ones do you recommend?
The first route I’d suggest is the Dolomites Tour. The winding mountain passes are perfect for showcasing the bike’s dynamics, and the aerodynamic protection makes it ideal for higher altitudes where the temperatures drop. The second would be a tour of Sardinia. With its versatility and the option to equip spoke wheels and aluminum panniers, the Multistrada V2 is perfect for exploring the island, even when the pavement ends and you move onto panoramic gravel roads. Finally, I’d choose an on-road tour of Morocco, a fascinating destination for its landscapes, colors, and culture. Thanks to its agility, the Multistrada V2 handles city traffic, like in Marrakech, with ease, offering the chance to discover unique places with maximum comfort.
