The Hypermotard contains all Ducati's state-of-the-art technology: from the DTC that maximises the bike's performance and active safety, to the Bosch 9MP ABS system with combined front and rear braking to ensure extra-short stopping distances. A concentrate of high intelligence found in the three Riding Modes developed specifically for each model, with the ability to select different riding modes by adjusting the Power Mode, ABS and DTC. Then, for a true motard style experience, the Hypermotard SP allows selection of another special ABS setting that enables locking of the rear wheel.
The Hypermotard takes another leap forward with the new water-cooled, four-valve 821 cc engine. This engine combines the incredible power of 110 CV with full usability, guaranteed by the secondary air system among other things. Its impeccable behaviour at low speeds, which enhances the versatility of this bike, combines perfectly with the unmistakeable Ducati character, while the 6-speed gearbox and non-slip clutch, which assists during gear changes, give the pleasure of a tip-top ride.
The best way to ensure maximum enjoyment when riding a bike is to make everything easier. Born from Ducati's experience and technical know-how, the Hypermotard interprets this concept perfectly, achieving amazing results in terms of simplified maintenance. Constant investment in design, in state-of-the-art components and attention for even the tiniest technical detail mean that maintenance intervals can be extended even further: an example of this is adjustment of the valve play, which is only carried out every 30,000 km.
