UK POLL CONFIRMS DUCATI AS THE UK’s COOLEST MOTORCYLE BRAND!
Ducati has been named amongst the UK’s top 20 coolest brands by influential CoolBrands opinion formers and a public poll.
Ducati was amongst many household names such as Aston Martin, Apple, YouTube, Ferrari and Google. Aston Martin topped the charts as the UK’s number one overall but it was Ducati that once again was voted as the UK’s coolest motorcycle brand, topping the automotive – motorcycle category and 14th overall.
The Ducati brand has always been regarded as one of the most prestigious in the world and no more so than in the UK, where it has regularly featured amongst the CoolBrands list and indeed was itself voted the UK’s number one back in 2002.
2008 has been an incredible year for the Italian manufacturer as it has once again produced some iconic machines (such as the brand new Ducati Streetfighter just presented at EICMA ’08), and has also triumphed in the racing world: winning the World Superbike Championship 2008 and coming second in the World MotoGP championship. Being named as one of the top 20 CoolBrands is recognition of the continued resurgence of the Ducati Brand.

This is thanks in no small part to the introduction of recent models such as the new Streetfighter, the Hypermotard, the new generation Monster 696-Monster 1100 and the new 1198 which are each arguably the best looking bikes in their respective classes, and of course not forgetting the stunning MotoGP replica, the Desmosedici RR. Ducati is a brand that is renowned for its high quality design, beauty and racing heritage and is appreciated by motorcyclists and non motorcyclists in equal measure and now can also be appreciated for its undisputed coolness.
