The Ducati Team in France for the fifth event of the season

The MotoGP season is coming up on its second race in Europe, and the Ducati Team arrives in France still riding high after the podium in Jerez 15 days ago.

Jorge Lorenzo, electrified by the beautiful race that won him third place in Jerez, is progressively getting a better feel for his Desmosedici and is focused on placing even higher at the French circuit that he has won five times in the past. Dovizioso also has good memories of Le Mans, having earned a third place in 2015, and in general the Forlì native has always been quite competitive on this track, even last year battling for the podium when he was stopped by a fall.

The Le Mans track has recently been re-asphalted, so all the riders will have to update their bike configurations. In fact, the Ducati Team has already held a test session with the test rider Michele Pirro to get a jump start on the necessary changes. The good result at Jerez is also due to the test session on the Andalusian circuit held between the races at Losail and Termas de Rio Hondo.

Even in France, Jorge Lorenzo and Andrea Dovizioso will be able to count on the support of the Ducati Grandstand, home to the many local fans from the other side of the Alps. The French fanstand was one of the first, organised in 2007, and that very year a group "haka" was held that put Casey Stoner on the podium...
