THE MUGELLO CIRCUIT

Designed in 70's and later greatly remodeled by Ferrari, "the Mugello" is one of the most scenic, modern and safe racing facilities in the world. Fully operational year round, the Mugello circuit is the regular test centre of Ferrari F1, the most important manufacturer of MotoGP and World Superbike, other prestigious manufacturer cars italian and international. To date the Mugello racetrack has hosted the Formula 5.000 Championship (which baptized the renovated circuit on June 23rd, 1974), the Formula 3.000, the Formula 2, the Fia-Gt and has been the only circuit in Italy to host the ITC. The track runs over 5.000 m through the forests and green areas. The elevated areas along the track permit the spectators to take part fully in the race.
The facilities have been built with leading technology and the office building is fully equipped with multifunctional facilities.

How to get there

The Circuit is located 30 km north of Florence and 100 km south of Bologna. If you are travelling on the Motorway A1 between Bologna and Florence please exit at Barberino del Mugello (15 km far from the circuit) and follow the road markings "Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello". If you come from the Apennine through the Muraglione and the Futa Pass follow the road signs for Luco di Mugello and Scarperia when you arrive in Borgo S.Lorenzo. From Florence: State road 302 "Faentina" passing through Fiesole, Polcanto, Borgo San Lorenzo and Scarperia.

MISANO WORLD CIRCUIT

Built in 1969, the international race track of Misano began its activities in 1972 and is privately managed. The initial length of the track was 3,488 km, but in 1973 it reached the present length of 4,060 km. Through the years, the border structure of the track was developed with new, larger pits and a paddock of 40,000 square meters. This year the Misano World Circuit is also hosting the MotoGP World Championship Gran Premio Cinzano di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini.

How to get there

The Misano World Circuit is positioned in the center of Italy and can be easily reached from any location. Situated 110 km southeast of Bologna, 15 km south of Rimini, and 100 km north of Ancona, the race track is easily accessible by plane and train. By car arriving via A14, exit at Riccione-Cattolica. It is advisable to exit at "Cattolica" and then follow the signs for Rimini.

PANNONIARING

The circuit is located in the border region of western Hungary, next to Sarvar, a small picturesque town known for its thermal bath, where it is possible to find restaurants and hotels. It is situated just 50 km from the Austro-Hungarian frontier, two hours from Budapest and half an hour from Vienna. Pannonia ring was built by bikers for bikers. This is immediately clear because there are not any guard rail in the whole circuit but there are wide escape routes of gravel and grass land. The circuit is considered one of the safest in Europe. It has some interesting characteristics (?): long approximately 5.000 meters with 11 curves, the line start/stop is along 700 meters and there is some hill. The Pannonia Ring is suitable for the European motorcycle championship and it is often used for races and training.


How to get to Pannonia ring

Pannonia Ring is near to the little town of Sarvar which is located 127 km from Vienna, 690 km from Bologna and 577 km from Munich.
From Vienna :
Take A2 motorway (Südautobahn) toward the Ebreichsdorf exit, then A3 motorway until crossing the Klingenbach/Sopron border. From there take the B 84 ( direction Plattensee) toward Sárvár. The circuit is far approximately 8 km from Sárvár, when you are there follow the road directions to Pannonia Ring
From Graz:
Take the A2 motorway (Südautobahn) and then the B50 until crossing the Oberwart/Szombathely border. From there follow the B89 and the B86/88 direction Plattensee toward Sárvár. The circuit is far approximately 8 km from Sárvár, when you are there follow the road directions to Pannonia Ring.

MAGNY COURS

The circuit was built in 1959 as track for Go-Kart. It was a project of the mayor of Magny Cours. In a short time this circuit became an important stage, lodging the European Formula 3 championship. During the 60's it gained more and more important organizations as it demonstrates the fact that here it was accommodated the first French guide school (the Winfield School). At the beginning of the 90's its fame increased further lodging the France Formula 1 Gran Prix and becoming one of the most prestigious appointments in the world of racing. In the course of time the circuit has been deeply modified until arriving to a structure which is today very different respect to the first project. The circuit track is characterized by some curves which took feature of the most famous circuits of the world like the curve "Nurburgring" or "Imola".


How to get to Magny-Cours

The Circuit is located 15 km (10 miles) south west of Nevers, on the banks of the river Loirs, halfway between Paris and Lyon.
From Paris :
A6 motorway to Lyon then A77 to Nevers and Magny-Cours
From Lyon
A6 motorway towards Paris Take macon Sud exit, N79 to Moulins N7 to Paris/Nevers and Magny-Cours.
