World Champions

Marc Márquez and Ducati proudly stand as MotoGP™ Riders’ World Champion

Marc Márquez and Ducati set an unrivalled pace that defined the season, clinching the 2025 World Championship with five races to spare. Their achievement was further highlighted by Álex Márquez (BK8 Gresini Racing Team) finishing second, giving Ducati an extraordinary one-two in the championship, while Francesco Bagnaia closed the season by securing a place in the top five.

For Ducati, this represents the fifth Riders’ Title overall and the fourth in a row, achieved with three different riders (Bagnaia in 2022–23, Martín in 2024, Márquez in 202. 5)Completing the picture is an equally significant first: the sixth consecutive Constructors’ Title, a streak unmatched in MotoGP history. This is accompanied by the Teams’ Title, proof of the unity and quality of the Ducati Lenovo Team's work, with the BK8 Gresini Racing Team and the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team - both fielding Desmosedici GP bikes - finishing second and third in the standings, respectively.

Marc Márquez and Ducati are World Champions!

A victory this extraordinary may look easy, but behind it lies immense work and an exceptional team.

You can see the 11 races won, the 14 Sprints, the 541 total points and the 201-point lead over the second in the standings.

But you don’t see everything that happens behind the scenes: over 100,000 hours of design, over 11,000 hours of calculations and simulations on Ducati HPC clusters, over 5,000 hours of testing on test benches, over 1 TB of data collected on track and 800 GB of augmented data, over 30,000 total hours spent by the Ducati Lenovo Team in the boxes.

We celebrate all of this: the race you see and the one you don’t see.
