Another weekend full of excitement on the track is on its way. This weekend Ducati Corse will be racing a double: the MotoGP team is at Thermas de Rio Hondo (Argentina ) while the for the Superbike and Superstock 1000 teams are in Assen (Netherlands ).
The Ducati MotoGP will be in Argentina on a new circuit, but unfortunately they will be racing without Cal Crutchlow. Carl is still recovering from the operation on his hand after his fall in Austin. He will be substituted by Pirro, a former Ducati Test Team rider and MotoGP wild card. All of us here at Ducati and all of the fans are wishing him the best.
And the fans will be featured in Argentina, where for the first time there is a Ducati Grandstand, a dedicated fan area where Ducati fans can cheer together, passionately in support of the Ducati team.
The Superbike race is in Europe, one of the best tracks for the Ducati motorcycles. This weekend's race will be on the TT Assen, the so-called "Cathedral of Speed". Davies and Giugliano are ready to give their best after the unsatisfactory results at Aragon, especially for Giugliano who saw his podium dream fade away following a crash during the last lap of Race 1.
The tradition of the Ducati Grandstands continue in Assen. This race has become an not to miss event for many fans who flock to the Grandstand every year to follow Superbike and Superstock1000 races. Mercado, Jezek (Barni Racing Team) and Massei (EAB Team Racing) are ready to put on a show, just like they did at the last race dominating the top positions in all sessions.
