Customer ServiceThree friends, riding their Ducati Multistrada, decided to chase a dream: to connect the three most extreme ends of Europe - West, South and North – with a very single travel. Not a simple itinerary, but a real expedition, made of asphalt and dirt, deserts and fjords, fatigue, laughter, unexpected events and unforgettable views. It was an adventure lived to the full, driven by the same passion, by their friendship and the Ducati spirit.
Our adventure started from the Southern of Spain and we crossed the country. We stopped at the rock formations of the Bardenas desert, and then we followed the Douro river from its source to the mouth in Porto. Here the scenery changed totally: from the barren land to a rugged landscape, populated by warm and hospitable people.
Once we reached Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of Europe, we rode for hours along the Atlantic Ocean, through secondary roads and dirt tracks. Then down to the South, crossing olive groves and sandy lands until Tarifa, our second cape, the southernmost.
During the crossing of the Spanish deserts - Gorafe, Mahoya, Tabernas, Monegros - we faced one of the most critical episodes of the entire journey. But it was an episode that united us more than before. Our friend Karim fell in a ravine with his Multistrada. It was a critical moment, but luck was on our side: no physical damage, only a broken turn indicators, and above all a human chain of exceptional solidarity to bring out the bike from a very complicated position. That collaboration made us realize how important the group is in trips like this.
The second part of the adventure took us to the North, crossing 16 countries. After driving through the roads of the Baltic countries, we took the ship to cross the Gulf of Finland and went up along the 2,000 km of dirt road of Finland, under the midnight sun.
The arrival to the North Cape was the symbolic moment and perhaps the strongest of the entire experience. The weather was perfect, the atmosphere surreal. But what made everything even more amazing was the fact that for over five hours we were completely alone on the island of Mageroya: just us, our bikes and dozens of kilometers of roads and dirt tracks to explore. Pure freedom.
