It is new race week for the Ducati Lenovo Team, heading to Czech Republic for the ninth Round of the 2026 season, the first of two consecutive races. The MotoGP paddock stops at the historic and fascinating Brno circuit, a track that has always been in the hearts of fans and is highly appreciated by riders for its technical layout and its iconic uphill final sector.
The Desmosedici GP has already triumphed on four occasions on this track: Loris Capirossi opened the winning streak in 2006, followed by Casey Stoner in 2007, up to Andrea Dovizioso in 2018 and the most recent victory secured by Marc Márquez in 2025.
Marc Márquez returns at work after dominating the last round in Hungary with pole position, a victory in the Sprint, and a triumph in Sunday's race. On a track that evokes great memories and suits his style well, Marc wants to stay in the fight with the strongest guys.
Ever more motivated by recent results and a true admirer of the Czech track, Pecco Bagnaia arrives in Brno with a haul of three consecutive podiums. The objective is to confirm his position among the most solid and consistent in terms of performance, and to close the gap.
Marc Márquez #93 Ducati Lenovo Team
"The feelings in Hungary were incredible: a full result with pole, Sprint, and Sunday's race. The layout of the Balaton circuit definitely favored us, a track that is not too physically demanding. Here in Brno, the situation will be different: it's a beautiful track that I like a lot and where I have already won with Ducati in the past, but it's also really tough and demanding. We will approach the weekend step by step, to find our 100% every single day".
Francesco Bagnaia #63 Ducati Lenovo Team
"We arrive in Brno in a positive moment, with three consecutive podiums that give us a great boost. I like the track very much; it has a fantastic layout, just like the Assen track which will host the next GP right after this weekend. These are two tracks that, by characteristics, are among my absolute favorites. I am convinced that I can make the most of the steps forward made with the Desmosedici GP on these two circuits; the goal is to confirm the good feelings and be consistent".
