Cutting-edge performance and unrivalled riding pleasure. The latest evolution of Testastretta 11° twin makes the new Monster your ideal partner. With many of its components redesigned to reduce weight while maintaining performance and reliability, the 937 cc Testastretta 11° is smooth and controlled at low rpm, for a prompt response in city traffic, but also dynamic at medium-high rpm for electrifying performance at all times.
Compared to the previous 821, it grows in displacement, power, torque and drops in weight (-2.4 kg) to contribute to the bike's light weight and offer better drivability. It now delivers 111 hp at 9,250 rpm with a maximum torque of 9.5 kgm delivered at just 6,500 rpm, proving to be efficient and responsive in throttle response. Thanks to the increased displacement, torque is improved at all engine speeds, especially in the low-mid range, which is the most commonly used on the road and between the curves.
Wheelie Control allows the motorcycle to achieve maximum acceleration by eliminating or limiting wheelies. This provides a high level of safety while ensuring the best acceleration performance. Wheelie Control is adjustable in multiple levels independently of the other controls.
The Ducati Riding Modes have marked a turning point in the motorcycle world. The rider is able to select, depending on the model, between three different preset maps that optimise motorcycle behaviour depending on the rider’s requirements and road conditions. The rider can change the strategy at any time – even when moving – thanks to the handlebar controls and the indications on the instrument panel.
