Customer ServiceA new addition to the 2025 calendar places the British Grand Prix in May. With preparations complete—and potentially milder weather than usual—the Ducati Lenovo Team returns to the track for the seventh round of the season. Since 2017, the Desmosedici GP has secured three victories in England with Dovizioso, Bagnaia in 2022, and Bastianini in 2024. Additionally, Stoner achieved wins in 2007 and 2008 when the GP was held at Donington.
After reclaiming the lead in the riders' standings at Le Mans and setting a new record of six consecutive Sprint wins, Marc Márquez—who has only one Premier class victory at Silverstone in 2014—aims to be a key contender.
Having stood on the Silverstone podium in the last three editions, including a GP victory in 2022, Pecco Bagnaia is eager to move past the challenging French weekend, where he couldn't convert his practice speed into points.
The first track session for both riders is scheduled for Friday, May 23rd, at 11:45 a.m. local time.
Marc Márquez (#93 Ducati Lenovo Team) – 1st (171 points):
"I'm back on track looking for confirmation. In France, I achieved two very important placings for the standings and continued to test the bike. We're returning to the pits to find the same sensations with the material we tried at the Jerez test, and we'll keep working hard to be competitive in both races."
Francesco Bagnaia (#63 Ducati Lenovo Team) – 3rd (120 points):
"The Le Mans weekend didn't give us much satisfaction. I was fast and competitive from Friday, but the double crash in the race prevented me from scoring points. The goal is to have more confidence at the front to ride as I want. I've always been very strong at Silverstone in recent years; I like the track and the atmosphere, and I can't wait to get back to work in the garage."
