MXGP of Sweden Qualifying Race

  • Uddevalla kicks off final quarter of 2025 MXGP season

The Uddevalla track, located 100 kilometers north of the city of Gothenburg, hosts the sixteenth round of the FIM Motocross World Championship this weekend.

The MXGP of Sweden, which opens the final quarter of the 2025 season, is held on the classic Swedish circuit that has hosted Grand Prix races since 1958 and was built inside a still-operational granite quarry. The track, a mixture of sand and hard gravel, features a particularly technical surface and a revised layout for a third of the track's length, with an entire sector completely redesigned, particularly tight and narrow.

Aruba.it - Ducati Factory MX Team riders Jeremy Seewer and Mattia Guadagnini, completed the timed practice session achieving the 13th and 24th times, respectively. At the start of the qualifying race, Seewer failed to find the best jump out of the gate, passing 14° at the first corner, while Guadagnini, on his Desmo450 MX, managed to make up some positions, crossing the finish line in 17th place on the first lap. On a track that doesn't favor overtaking, the two riders completed the 12 laps of the qualifying race maintaining their respective positions, crossing the finish line as they started.
