Keep up to speed with Desmo Sport Ducati Racing in the Australian Superbike Championship!
Desmo Sport DucatiThe DRE Adventure Academy is the riding course designed for adventure enthusiasts who want to learn all the secrets of on and off-road riding by experiencing the qualities of Ducati bikes, in particular, the Multistrada range and the new DesertX.
The Adventure Academy provides the opportunity to discover the secrets of the adventuring world: from the right body position, to learning the most effective riding techniques, to the correct loading of bags and the repair of a damaged tyre.
The academy programme runs for two days: the first is dedicated to theoretical explanation and practice drills of technical exercises to gain the right confidence in off-road riding. The second day includes a tour of public roads with both on-road and off-road sections in real world terrain.
The venues hosting us will offer access to suitable riding terrain and an ideal location for a unique experience, combining the pleasure of great riding on the roads & trails and the discovery of local food and wine.
The cost of the programme is $845 with lunch and dinner prepared with top quality ingredients and dinner accompanied by a selection of locally produced wines. Accommodation is available on site at an additional cost which we can book for you or you are free to make your own arrangements.
The DRE Adventure Academy is tailored to the most adventurous Ducati bikes including the Multistrada range and the DesertX. Riders will ride their own motorcycles and the Academy is open to riders of all Ducati adventure models.
To make the most of the experience, bikes should be equipped to tackle on-and-off-road riding with off-road orientated knobby tyres.
Ducati also requires riders to be properly equipped with technical apparel: jacket, trousers, helmet, gloves, boots, body armour and knee pads.
Our next DRE | Adventure Academy programme is running on May 14-15 2023 in Hunter Valley, NSW.
The event runs over two days and the cost is $845.
Our programme is structured so that Day 1 features core skill building on private property, whilst Day 2 allows you to put Day 1’s learnings into practice during a group ride on public roads. For the full DRE experience, we encourage you to attend both days.
If you are a nervous rider or at the beginning of your journey, we recommend attending Day 1.
If you are a competent rider looking to refresh your skills in an adventure context, you can attend Day 2 alone, or both days.
We welcome all Ducati adventure bikes to this academy.
