Power that surprises.
Style that seduces.

Exquisite, sophisticated lines that follow the essence of Ducati. The Diavel V4 RS stands out for its bold design, in which every element has been redesigned: from the air intakes to the single-seat tail, to the fenders and tank covers, all made of carbon fiber.
Super sports components in carbon fiber

Carbon fiber components such as the front and rear mudguards, clutch cover, top fairing, tank cover, single-seat tail, and air intake ducts add to the exclusive identity of the Diavel V4 RS. The contrast with the sporty and dynamic RS livery highlights the bike’s shape and sports attitude, while also reducing the overall weight by approximately 6.6 lbs. (3 kg) compared to the Diavel V4.

A bold, imposing line

The Diavel V4 RS embodies the spirit of the Ducati Muscle Roadster and adds technical and style solutions that make it unforgettable in both personality and substance. Its sculpted, taut lines trace an unmistakable, muscular profile, combining the aggression of a muscle roadster with the elegance of a Ducati sportbike.

An instantly recognizable profile

The profile of the Diavel V4 RS is unmistakable. From side on, the bike is aggressive and sporty, emphasized by composite air vents on the shoulders of the tank where visible carbon fiber on the lower section contrasts harmoniously with a red painted upper section. The forward shift in mass and side panels further reinforces the bike’s striking presence.

Rider seat and single-seat tail: sophisticated solutions for every riding style

The rider seat of the Diavel V4 RS is enhanced with red stitching on the side that accentuates the bike’s sports attitude. The single-seat tail, featuring carbon fiber components, bears the RS logo on both sides and replaces the passenger seat to achieve a lighter rear line. For those who want to share the riding experience with a passenger, the single-seat tail can be replaced with the provided seat. The retractable passenger footpegs and grab handle are as functional as they are sophisticated.

A single-sided swingarm and forged wheels for standout style

Inspired by the sports car world, the aluminum forged wheels with five-spoke “Y” design give the Diavel V4 RS a strong visual and dynamic identity. The aluminum single-sided swingarm enhances the design and highlights its structural lightness, making the bike even more exclusive and distinctive, with a standout style.

Front and rear lighting

The front LED daytime running light adopts the signature double C shape of a Ducati naked, while the dynamic turn signals are integrated into the handlebars for a more compact and aggressive front end. At the rear, an ultra-modern point LED matrix positioned under the tail replicates the double C configuration of the front DRL.

Dedicated RS livery: unique style details

The style details developed specifically for the Diavel V4 RS make it unique in personality and substance. The RS logo, designed by the Centro Stile, features on the livery and the dash graphics and is engraved on the key. The series number appears on an aluminum plate, this too enhanced with the RS logo and applied to the rear cylinder head of the Desmosedici Stradale engine.

Balance of power and elegance

Power and style for an undeniably striking presence. The Diavel V4 RS combines the aggression of a sport naked with the authority of a muscle roadster for the perfect balance of extreme design, dynamic efficiency, and riding comfort. A unique blend, unmistakably Ducati.

Pure power for extreme performance

The Diavel V4 RS pushes farther. The Desmosedici Stradale and its select components raise the bar in terms of performance and adrenaline, for the quickest acceleration in the Ducati range: from 0 to 60 in just 2.43 seconds (0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds). A benchmark that, until now, belonged solely to the MotoGP bike.
182 hp Desmosedici Stradale

The Diavel V4 RS features the race-derived 1103 cc Desmosedici Stradale engine, capable of producing a maximum power of 182 hp, representing a 14 hp increase over the V4 Granturismo engine in the Diavel V4.

On the Diavel V4 RS, the rev limiter is set at 13,500 rpm in all gears except first, where it is activated at 14,000 rpm.

Counter-rotating crankshaft

On road bikes, the crankshaft rotates in the same direction as the wheels, but in MotoGP, a counter-rotating crankshaft that rotates in the opposite direction is common. The Desmosedici Stradale borrows this solution from the reigning class to oppose the gyroscopic effect produced by the wheels. This makes the Diavel V4 RS more agile when changing direction and limits the tendency to wheelie, both in acceleration and braking, for a more precise and responsive ride.

Deactivation of the rear bank

To improve consumption and thermal comfort aboard the Diavel V4 RS, the Desmosedici Stradale engine adopts a rear cylinder bank deactivation system, so that when the bike is stationary, in neutral, or with temperatures more than 158°F (70°C), the rear cylinders deactivate to reduce the heat perceived by the rider.

STM-EVO SBK dry clutch for a distinct Ducati sound

The Diavel V4 RS mounts the billet aluminum STM-EVO SBK dry clutch, complete with a specific configuration of anti-hopping springs and ramps. As well as ensuring a smoother ride, particularly when braking and shifting, this component also contributes to enriching the exhaust sound with its typical metallic timbre when the clutch is released. Performance of the dry clutch can be further heightened by using Ducati Corse Performance Oil Powered by Shell Advance, developed in collaboration with Shell for the WorldSBK and MotoGP championships.

Unmistakable exhaust

The four-exit exhaust, an unmistakable style element of the Diavel range, stands out for its titanium end caps and aluminum covers.

Benchmark service intervals

As for service intervals, the Diavel V4 RS requires a valve clearance check every 18,000 miles (30,000 km).

Designed to excite

Agile, powerful, light. Thanks to an advanced chassis, Desmosedici Stradale engine, and the use of elements that reduce the overall weight, the Diavel V4 RS promises even more responsive and precise ride dynamics, and neutral, stable behavior when cornering.
Less weight thanks to numerous carbon fiber components

The Diavel V4 RS flaunts carbon fiber components, which make for an overall weight saving of approximately 6.6 lbs. (3kg) compared to the Diavel V4. This high-quality material is used in many of the completely redesigned components, such as the side air intakes, single-seat tail, fenders, and tank covers. The small lithium-ion battery also contributes to a lighter bike.

Race-style chassis

On the Diavel V4 RS, the Desmosedici Stradale engine is not just the beating heart of performance but an integral part of the chassis, used as a structural element. The layout is based on a lightweight aluminum monocoque frame affixed to the heads, paired with a cast aluminum single-sided swingarm and a steel rear trellis subframe. A configuration that offers maximum stiffness, contained weight, and advanced ride dynamics. The long, low layout, due to technical choices that bring it closer to dragsters, is in fact the Ducati with the best acceleration from 0 to 60 in 2.43 seconds (0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds).

Heightened performance with Öhlins suspension

The Öhlins suspension used for the Diavel V4 RS is designed to guarantee the very best performance, balancing sports riding support with comfort when cruising. The NIX30 fork with 48 mm stanchions and STX46 shock, both fully adjustable in pre-load and hydraulics, ensure a smoother ride, effectively absorbing even the smallest bumps in the roads.

With respect to the Diavel V4 version, hydraulic calibration is more robust, reducing load transfers and improving control during the sportiest phases, without sacrificing everyday riding comfort.

Panigale-derived braking system

The braking system on the Diavel V4 RS derives directly from that of the Panigale V4 and ensures record performance with a peak deceleration figure of 11.5m/s2. This value is generally reserved for race bikes, only possible thanks to the sophisticated calibration of the Cornering ABS system. 330 mm discs and Brembo Stylema monobloc calipers at the front are combined with a single 265 mm disc and Brembo floating caliper at the rear.

Tailor-made rider seat

On the Diavel V4 RS, the rider seat upholstery is tailor-made and enhanced with red stitching on the side that accentuates its sports attitude. The single-seat tail with carbon fiber components bears the RS logo on both sides and replaces the passenger seat for a lighter rear line. For those who want to share the Diavel V4 RS travel experience with a passenger, it’s possible to switch the single-seat tail for the seat provided and pull out the retractable passenger footpegs and grab handle. Sophisticated solutions that combine style and functionality in every detail.

Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres: for unprecedented grip

The Diavel V4 RS mounts Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tires, available for the first time with a rear size of 240/45, for excellent grip in acceleration and mid-turn. Together with the aluminum forged wheels, the tires add to the vehicle’s dynamic performance, making the Diavel V4 RS more neutral in its cornering behavior with respect to the Diavel V4 and more satisfying during sports riding.

Supersport-level electronics

Latest-generation electronics designed to take on every road with precision. Four Riding Modes, Ducati Traction Control, Ducati Wheelie Control, and Ducati Quick Shift work together to offer an exciting ride. Making its Diavel family debut is Race Riding Mode, which emphasizes the RS model’s unique characteristics.
New Ducati Power Launch strategy

The Diavel V4 RS introduces a new Ducati Power Launch (DPL) strategy, designed to optimize performance from a standing start. The system offers three levels of intervention, which can be selected according to a rider’s experience and preference. Having selected a level, the rider need only shift into first and fully open the throttle: during the initial start phase, as the rider releases the clutch, the system maintains the Desmosedici Stradale RS engine at optimal rpm, to suit the DPL level selected.

Once the clutch is released, the DPL enters the second phase, adjusting torque delivery to ensure the best possible acceleration, again based on the selected level. To operate, the DPL integrates the Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) function and ensures Ducati Traction Control (DTC) remains active, for maximum safety in all conditions. The system automatically deactivates once the expected maneuver speed is exceeded or when the rider shifts into third. In addition, to preserve the clutch, a dedicated algorithm limits the number of consecutive starts available. The counter resets when the bike is used normally.

Panigale V4-derived Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) 2.0

The electronics package on the Diavel V4 RS includes Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) 2.0, which allows the rider to upshift without using the clutch and without reducing the throttle, increasing the bike’s acceleration speed. Already present on the Panigale V4, this system does away with the traditional lever with a microswitch in favor of a direct mechanical lever, enhancing the bike’s dynamic performance.

Four Riding Modes and three Power Modes available for the Diavel V4 RS

The Diavel V4 RS electronic systems are calibrated to suit the model’s characteristics and usage, and integrated into four Riding Modes: Sport, Touring, Wet, and Race, appearing in the Diavel range for the first time to highlight the characteristics of the RS model.

The three Power Modes on the Diavel V4 RS are optimized specifically for the new RS model:

  • High (associated with Race and Sport Riding Modes) - dedicated to sports riding and use on track and able to offer maximum power with a prompt throttle response.
  • Medium (associated with Touring Riding Mode) - offering maximum power but with a gentler throttle response.
  • Low (associated with Wet Riding Mode) - reduces power to 84 kW (114 hp) and ensures a gentle throttle response.
TFT with dedicated graphics and display

The Diavel V4 RS features a Diavel-specific TFT with a 5” screen that stands out for its dedicated graphics and special key-on animation when the bike is started.
