Born on November 21, 1984, in Talavera de la Reina (Spain) - has been competing in world championship racing since 2002 and was crowned 125cc GP World Champion in 2006. From there, he moved up into the 250cc GP Championship

After a sixteen-year career in the MotoGP paddock, he has landed in Superbike
in 2019 to defend the colours of the Aruba.it Racing - Ducati team.
In his debut season, Bautista got 16 wins and seven podiums, and finished second in the final World Championship standings.
