DesmoSport DucatiThe tenth round of the 2025 WorldSBK season got off to a convincing start for the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati team.
After finishing second in FP1 in the morning, which was also characterised by rather cold temperatures, Nicolò Bulega managed to take another step forward in terms of feeling with his Ducati Panigale V4R in the afternoon. The Italian rider finished FP2 with a time of 1'48.736, which earned him second place in the combined standings.
It was also a solid Friday for Álvaro Bautista, who won both the Superpole Race and Race 2 at Motorland Aragon last year. The Spanish rider finished fifth in the combined standings after improving his FP1 time by almost three tenths of a second in the afternoon.
Nicolò Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati #11)
"I'm quite satisfied with how things went today. Of course, I couldn't say it was the best Friday of the season, but we still managed to do a good job between FP1 and FP2, which allowed us to improve. We're still missing something, but we're confident we can take another step forward tomorrow".
Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati #19)
"It was a positive Friday. During this season, we've often had to chase a good feeling in free practice. Today, however, I immediately felt good on the bike, and this allowed us to work on the details. We found a good base set-up on which to build with confidence for tomorrow and Sunday's performance".
