Rider Bio

Calvin Vlaanderen is a Dutch motocross rider born on June 10, 1996, in Cape Town, South Africa. Raised in a motocross family, he moved to Europe at a young age to pursue a professional racing career and quickly established himself in the international motocross scene.

Vlaanderen first gained major recognition in the FIM Motocross World Championship MX2, where he achieved several strong results including Grand Prix victories and podium finishes. His performances in the highly competitive MX2 class showcased his speed and consistency, eventually leading him to move up to the premier MXGP category.

Competing regularly against the world’s top riders, Vlaanderen has built a reputation for his technical riding style, strong race pace and determination on challenging tracks. He is also a key member of the Dutch national team at the Motocross of Nations, contributing to the Netherlands’ strong presence in international motocross competitions.
