Troy Lee Designs Red Bull Ducati Factory Racing Team officially announced for 2026 AMA Supercross, AMA Pro Motocross and SuperMotocross Championship Series

  • The announcement marks Ducati’s first official off-road racing program in North America, entering a new chapter in its global racing history

Sunnyvale, Calif., October 27, 2025 – More than a milestone, Ducati North America proudly announces the Troy Lee Designs Red Bull Ducati Factory Racing Supercross and Pro Motocross team. This official Ducati Corse Off-Road factory team will debut at the Anaheim 1 Supercross on January 10, 2026.

This historic partnership unites, on US soil, three icons that have each redefined what racing means — Ducati, the name synonymous with precision and performance; Red Bull, the global symbol of speed and human potential; and Troy Lee Designs, the creative force whose artistry and innovation have shaped the very culture of motocross.

Together, they are forming an alliance — the pinnacle of passion, technology, and vision — born from the passion for racing and a shared belief that competition is not just a pursuit, but a purpose.

Ducati Corse Off-Road has been developing the Desmo450 MX across Europe with riders Tony Cairoli, Alessandro Lupino, Jeremy Seewer, and Mattia Guadagnini. In 2024, Cairoli gave the bike its World Championship debut in the Netherlands, while Lupino captured Ducati’s first motocross title in the Italian MX1 Prestige Championship. In 2025, Seewer and Guadagnini joined Ducati’s racing program taking part, with the Desmo450 MX, to the entire MXGP Championship, and achieving two podium finishes with the Swiss rider.

This partnership also celebrates the reunion of Troy Lee Designs and Red Bull, two brands with a shared legacy dating back over 20 years. Their journey began in 2001 in the world of Supermoto, followed by a decade of dominance in Supercross and Motocross from 2016 to 2024, supporting factory teams and capturing numerous victories while showcasing creativity and collaboration on and off track.

Red Bull has become one of the most influential forces in AMA Supercross, recognized for its deep commitment to athlete development, team support, and elevating the sport’s global visibility. Through its long-standing partnerships with elite riders and teams, Red Bull has consistently been at the center of championship-winning programs and creative storytelling that connects fans to the culture of Supercross.

Troy Lee Designs has played a defining role in AMA Supercross, blending art and speed like no other brand in the paddock. Known for its bold designs and craftsmanship, the brand has supported some of the sport’s top riders and team. Beyond race results, Troy Lee Designs has influenced the culture—expanding the boundaries of style, safety, and creativity while maintaining a deep connection to the athletes and fans.

“From the very first test, our goal was clear — to bring Ducati’s racing DNA into the world of Motocross and Supercross. Not only to participate, but to compete at the highest level. With the Troy Lee Designs Red Bull Ducati Factory Racing team, we’ve found a partner who share the same belief: racing is more than results. It’s about passion, innovation, and leaving a mark that endures.”

"I’m just super stoked and proud to be partnered back with Red Bull and it feels almost like a reunion. We've been partners for over 20 years, and their passion for motorsports and belief in me and the TLD brand has always meant the world. Now, to be teaming up with Ducati in their 100th year is not just a big deal for our race team, but huge for the entire moto industry. Honestly, this is a dream come true. From painting helmets in my garage in Corona to having a full-on factory team based out of the TLD headquarters, this is history in the making with some of the biggest names in the paddock. Massive respect and gratitude to Paolo and the entire TLD crew who came together to make this dream a reality. Without them and other key people, none of this would’ve happened. What started as just a conversation two years ago is now a full-blown reality, and come January, the world’s going to see it shine. We’re all in and I think 2026 is going to be next level."

This collaboration is the physical expression of Ducati’s racing soul — a relentless pursuit of performance guided by design, driven by emotion, and proven through decades of competition. Every Ducati built carries that DNA: born from racing, refined by experience, and engineered to win.

Now, that legacy meets the main stage of Supercross. The Troy Lee Designs Red Bull Ducati Factory Racing team riders’ lineup and official Troy Lee Designs custom liveries will be unveiled in the coming weeks. The 2026 season will mark not only the debut of a team but the beginning of Ducati’s racing DNA coming to life on the Supercross stage.
