DesmoSport Ducati
Desmosport Ducati are determined to end the 2025 Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK) on a high at The Bend Motorsport Park this weekend (October 7-9) with Broc Pearson eager to put his Panigale V4 R back on the podium. After a day of testing at The Bend, the whole team are reinvigorated and energised to finish the 2025 season on top of the box. Positioned just over an hour outside of Adelaide, the eighteen turn, 4.95km layout at Tailem Bend provides a worthy challenge for any rider and will be a fitting finale for the 2025 season. Two eleven-lap races await not only Pearson on race day but also Luca Durning. Durning will be making a huge step at The Bend where he will make his first appearance in the Superbike class aboard a Desmosport Ducati Panigale V4 R. Durning has competed all year on a Panigale V2 in the Next Gen Supersport class and decided now is the time to begin his Superbike journey.
Team Owner, Ben Henry: "Here we are at the final round of 2025. It's been a year of challenges, for sure, but we have an opportunity to finish in the right way. This track suits our bike and we've got our package dialed in well after a day of testing a few weeks ago - now we have to perform and execute. One Raceway was tough, there's no doubt about that, but we're better than seventh place and we need to show that. It's also going to be great to see Luca step up to Superbike, he's put in a huge effort on the Panigale V2 in Next Gen Supersport and he's well prepared to take the big guns. Thanks to all our supporters this year, we appreciate you all and we're looking forward to putting on one last show for 2025."
Broc Pearson: "I'm really keen to turn things around at The Bend and end the season on the right note, how you finish the year is what people remember. We obviously had a challenging round at One Raceway last time out and I need to put that behind me and put the Desmosport V4 R back on the podium. My goal is always to compete for the win, but really just being in the fight is the important thing. We had a test at The Bend a few weeks ago and it was good to just get back on the bike, spin some laps and feel comfortable. Having that day under my belt is really going to help for this weekend, I was able to really enjoy it and have fun. As a team we're as ready as we can be, so this weekend I just need to focus and perform. I'm feeling confident to send us out on a high!"
