Keep up to speed with Desmo Sport Ducati Racing in the Australian Superbike Championship!
DesmoSport DucatiDesmoSport Ducati is primed for the Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK) to get underway this weekend as round one descends upon Phillip Island alongside the WorldSBK championship season opener. With Broc Pearson joined in the DesmoSport box by Troy Herfoss, it's set to be an action-packed three races at the newly resurfaced circuit.
Ben Henry: "While the off-season wasn't long, it's definitely been an interesting one to say the least for us and I'm ready to get this season officially going. The new surface at Phillip Island has already proved to be quite fast, and I think it's safe to say everyone will be watching tyre life from the minute we get on track, but that's just another aspect of racing for us to manage as a team. Racing alongside WorldSBK is a great opportunity for us to see our friends in the World paddock, catch up with some familiar faces and see some impressive racing. While our focus will be on getting Broc and Troy the best possible result, I'll also be watching and cheering on Oli (Bayliss) and Tom (Toparis) in World SuperSport this weekend."
Broc Pearson: "I can't wait to back on the Panigale V4 R tomorrow. I've been working hard since our last ASBK race at The Bend last year and I'm as motivated as ever to keep progressing forward. It's been great to have Troy (Herfoss) in the box, allowing us to double the data and increase our ability to test settings. We had a shakedown test at Queensland Raceway and I'm heading into the weekend confident that I can have a strong result this weekend."
Troy Herfoss: "What a week! I get to race with DesmoSport this weekend at Phillip Island before heading straight to the US to prepare to race Daytona. Two pretty iconic places essentially back-to-back. Like always there is a lot of riders feeling great in pre season testing, I’ve been doing this a while now and I’m looking forward to getting the real racing started this weekend to see where we stand as team.”
