Josh Waters and Onyabike Adventures KW Civil McMartin Racing with K-Tech make history once again with Waters winning his fifth ASBK Title

Josh Waters has once again re-written the record books with an unprecedented fifth ASBK Championship, secured after qualifying at the final round of 2025 at The Bend Motorsport Park on Saturday afternoon.

Cru Halliday on a McMartin Racing with K-Tech Ducati Panigale V4R secured his first ever Ducati ASBK pole denying Waters Championship rival Mike Jones the all-important point he required to keep his championship hopes alive heading into Sunday's two eleven lap races.

Waters, who has won an impressive nine races so far this season, can now focus on Sunday’s races with back-to-back championships now secured.

“I have no words for how much this means to me” said the greatest ASBK rider of all time. “Achievements like this aren’t possible without the support network that I have around me; the McMartin Racing with K-Tech Team, my wife Gin, daughter Izzy and son Lenny, my entire family and to everyone who supports me, including those that travelled all the way from Mildura to celebrate this win with us. It is a strange way to secure the title after qualifying but knowing the job is now done and being able to enjoy the final two races of 2025 is such a great feeling”
