Mugello Circuit, 31 May 2026 – During the most highly-anticipated MotoGP weekend of the season, in front of the home crowd at Mugello, Ducati celebrates its Centenary with a special livery on the Ducati Lenovo Team's Desmosedici GP bikes. A unique graphic concept born from the fusion of the ten motorcycles of the Collezione 100, bringing their colors, alongside the names of Ducati employees, to the track.
The presentation of the Collezione 100 took place on Thursday evening, when the circuit's main straight was transformed, for the first time in MotoGP history, into a striking open-air art gallery. This was the setting for the unveiling of the Collezione 100: ten numbered and limited-edition models, each produced in just 100 units and inspired by ten iconic moments in Ducati's history. Each motorcycle is accompanied by a helmet and jacket featuring the same livery, as well as a pair of numbered and signed artworks by Ugo Nespolo, who reinterpreted each model and the historic motorcycle that inspired its design through his unmistakable artistic style.
It is precisely from the Collezione 100 that the special livery of the Desmosedici GP bikes of Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Márquez takes shape. Inspired by the visual languages of pop art and retro-futurism, it reinterprets the colors, details and distinctive elements of the ten Centenary motorcycles, blending historic Ducati logos, dynamic geometries, and contrasting colors into a visually striking composition.
Adding further significance to the project, the names and surnames of Ducati employees flow across the motorcycles like a collective signature. This choice was strongly supported by Ducati as a way of emphasizing that the Centenary belongs not only to the brand's history but, above all, to the people who contribute every day to building its future.
Completing the livery are the 100 logo and the dates 1926 - 2026, finished with a glitter effect that recalls the historic 1972 750 Imola Desmo, reinterpreted within the Collezione 100 through the Panigale V4 S. On the front fairing, instead, the modern graphics contrast with the oval race number plate and vintage-style font.
The project extends across the entire Ducati Lenovo Team: the same graphic elements featured on the livery also appear on the team's apparel, from the coordinated polo shirts worn by team members to the racing suits of Marc Márquez and Francesco Bagnaia. The polo shirt is already available on the Ducati Shop.
Mugello represents one of the milestones in a special year for Ducati. The Centenary celebrations will continue over the coming months with new events and initiatives, beginning with World Ducati Week , which from July 3 to 5 will bring thousands of Ducatisti from around the world to Misano to celebrate a century of Ducati history together.
