Ducati and the Multistrada experience attend Adventure Bike Rider Festival 2019

Ducati UK will again be at the festival, now well established, which will be even bigger and better this year as it moves to a new location.

The stately home, Ragley Hall will host this year’s festival, offering an extensive area for festival goers to make full use of the grounds. There’s an Adventure Trail, manufacturer test ride area, plus an Adventure Park where you can test your off-road riding skills. The Adventure Village is where you’ll find food stalls, a full bar, trade stands and live music in the evenings. There is onsite camping, glamping, and campervans can be parked at an extra charge For those of you that prefer a comfier nights sleep, there are plenty of hotels in the nearby towns of Alcester and Stratford upon Avon.

Ducati will be providing an extensive range of bikes to the festival with the Ducati Roadshow demonstrator fleet joined by the Multistrada experience, a fleet of Multistrada 950, Multistrada 1260 and Multistrada 1260 Enduro brought over from Italy especially for the event.

The Multistrada 950 and Multistrada 1260 will be available for guided test rides around the beautiful Warwickshire roads, as will selected models from the Ducati and Scrambler ranges.

A highlight of the Multistrada experience is the opportunity to participate in a tester session of the DRE Enduro Academy. Based in Italy the academy is where riders can learn the technical skills and tips for off-road riding.

It’s a valuable experience that not only introduces the participants to the abilities of the Multistrada 1260 Enduro but also a taster of riding off-road in conditions where this is not much grip which ultimately enhances skills for safer riding on road.

Available to test off road will be a fleet of Multistrada 1260 Enduro as well as a small number of Ducati Scrambler Desert Sleds. The test will be in controlled conditions under the supervision of qualified expert riders led by the former Dakar rider Beppe Gualini.

The sessions will consist of going through the basics of off-road riding, exercises focusing on dealing with obstacles and emergency braking on rough surfaces.
