The event saw a mixture of activities that including ride-outs, RoSPA rider training, Biker Down first-aid training and bike yoga. And Ducati Manchester were on location with a Streetfighter V2 and Scrambler Ducati for club members to test ride.
The event concluded with a three-course meal and raffle. Raffle prizes included Ducati Performance vouchers, and a range of official Ducati Apparel. These prizes were gifted from a variety of club supporters, including Ducati Insurance, and the Ducati Manchester, Ducati Croydon, Ducati Cardiff and Ducati Hailsham stores, with the total raised for the Air Ambulance expected to surpass last year's figure of £1,100.
Gill Riddell – Ducati Dragon founder
“I set the Ducati Dragons up in 2021 because I felt there was a need to have a safe space for ladies to come together to enjoy the passion and the love of Ducatis. Since setting the group up in 2021 it's grown to over 400 members and today some of us have gathered together to enjoy our fifth anniversary."
Andrea Marshall – Ducati Dragon organiser
“I came on board with the Ducati Dragons very quickly after Jill set the group up, and I'm one of the organisers along with a few other people. We’re here in this beautiful hotel in Shropshire this weekend, enjoying our Ducatis, eating, drinking and laughing.
We've had lots of activities this weekend, with demo bikes from Ducati Manchester with the Streetfighter V2 and a Scrambler Icon which the ladies have enjoyed. We're had RoSPA observed rides, a Biker Down course, biker yoga, and a wonderful raffle with lots of donations from lots of Ducati dealerships, in which we are aiming to raise over £1,100 for the Air Ambulance charity."
