Ducati UK to collaborate with European track day company Slick Moto Events

Ducati UK and Slick Moto Events are to collaborate in 2026, to offer track day riders the chance to ride the Panigale V4S and Paingale V2S at various world-class circuits around Europe.

Run by husband-and-wife team Lee and Carla Ewbank, Slick Moto Events offer premium track days at some of Europe’s top race tracks. And for 2026 Ducati UK are collaborating with Slick Moto Events to offer clients the chance to ride the Panigale V4S and Panigale V2S at tracks including Mugello, Misano, and the Red Bull Ring. 

Both Lee and Carla were at the recent Motorcycle Live event, where they chatted to Niall Mackeznie on the Ducati stage, introducing their track day company to Ducatisti.

Lee: We started the business in 2023, on the back of myself being a rider doing Europe track days. The latter two years of that felt a little lacklustre and we thought there was space to offer a more premium type of track day experience and that’s where it all started for us.

We wanted to offer something more customer focused, more premium, provide a better level of support, all whilst using top MotoGP and WorldSBK circuits. 

Carla: We try and take a lot of the stress that’s associated with participating in European events away from our clients, and that starts before they even get to the circuit. Some clients do get nervous, especially so if they don’t do track days that often, or if it’s the first time that they’ll be riding a track new to them and outside of the UK. 

We always make sure that they’re at ease. We do all the paperwork for them. When they first arrive at circuit, they only have to put their bike in the garage, then they can have a beer and relax so they’re all ready to go the next day. 

We always have technical support on hand, and we’re always happy to answer any questions. We might have riders that have never ridden on track, and then we have racers too, so we always have a variety of different people with us. 

Lee: We were in Mugello recently and had a brand-new rider to circuit, and in the very same garage we had Brad Ray, Tommy Bridewell and Ben Currie. Everyone was having fun, there were no egos, people were supporting each other. It was like a community, we were all one family. 

We’re proud to collaborate with Ducati UK in 2026. We’ll now have a Ducati Panigale V4S and a Panigale V2S as demo bikes at each circuit we visit, so riders at Slick Moto Events can really explore the performance of these motorcycles on track. 

A £200 hire fee gets you two back-to-back sessions on a Panigale on track. You can use the first session to get used to the bike, the power, handling and brakes, and then go on and use the second session to push on a bit to really get that full experience of riding a Ducati on a world-class circuit.

But our events aren’t just for Ducati owners, they’re for everyone. We’d love riders of other manufacturers to try out our Ducati demo bikes to get a proper chance to ride a Ducati. I’ve got the latest seventh-generation Panigale V4 and I think it’s the best motorcycle I’ve ever ridden. And I want others to experience that thrill too.
