Grace Webb & Fast Bikes: Panigale V4 R Desmosedici Stradale tech talk

Grace Webb and Fast Bikes Magazine got a recent access all area pass at the Ducati factory in Borgo Panigale, to take an exclusive and in-depth look at the 2026 Desmosedici Stradale engine that’s set to be at the heart of the new Panigale V4 R.  

With Ducati Motor Holding opening doors to some of the most restrictive parts of the factory in Bologna, Grace got to see first-hand how the new Desmosedici Stradale engines are developed as well as learn more about the new V4 R engine that will be pushed to the limit by both World and British Superbike riders next year.

In the video below, Engine Director at Ducati Stafano Fantoni, explains what makes the new V4R motor inexplicably special, how it was crafted, and what racers and riders can expect from this new powerhouse.
